It’s easy to locate the amount of voltage your Club Car, EZGO, or Yamaha golf cart carries. This will help you if you need to replace your batteries or correctly install components on your golf cart. We will bullet some key steps and provide you with detailed pictures for your reference.
- About Golf Cart Battery Voltage:
- Golf carts consist of 36v, 48v, and 72 volts. Some carts might be 42v(westerns mostly).

How to Calculate your Golf Cart Voltage:
- Locate your battery under your seat
- The battery will have plastic caps on top covering the fill holes.
- Each fill hole represents 2 Volts
- Example: 4 holes in one battery, multiply it by 2 and the result will be 8 Volts.
- If you have more than one battery, multiply it by the number of total batteries for the total voltage of your golf cart.
